Greetings forum member (or would-be forum member)! This day was announced months ago and has been long in coming, but it is - sadly - here at last. The John Connolly discussion forum will be shutting down for good on Friday, February 24, 2012. Please join John's Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/pages/John-Connolly/100276323350855 and feel free to start new discussions there, or find John on Twitter at @jconnollybooks. Thanks for your participation, friendship and support.

Dance of Death by the mighty Iron Maiden. Saw them live for the first time up in Aberdeen a couple of weeks ago and they were phenomenal. They can teach current artists a thing or two about providing a proper show

Phenomenal heavy metal live performances from this group!!! I saw Iron Maiden open (can you believe it) for Judas Priest at the Palladium in NYC waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when....Priest followed with an awesome show too (as ever) Halford rides onstage on a Harley (lots of tight black leather...uh)

And ya know what....I don't want none of these *&^%$^*#@ glow sticks!!!!
GIMME back my bic so I can wave it high & sway......

Been getting nostalgic for the music I first listened to; Bob Dylan, Joni Michell, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and a mixed bag of classic rock.

From the corrupting influence of Hrachel and Hannu, The Daylights and Marillion, respectively.

From the corrupting influence of a nearby friend, The Vitamin String Quartet and from my own self-corruption, Florence and the Machine. Oh wait, the nearby friend had Florence on the mix he made me, darn him.

DQ, you are missing in the list of those that corrupt. How can that be?Huh  Shocked
