Hilarious, Arthur! You should write a book, seriously, you should.
Thanks, Jayne.  Bit of fun, I hope.

The wedding planner was straightening one of the many posters that adorned her office walls.  She had decided to shift some of the Mortensen ones to make room for her long-anticipated and now newly-acquired Bob Dylan collection (she speculated idly if this was something every busy executive had to do from time to time).  At that moment, her business partner arrived in.  The wedding planner glanced up, then did a double take… she wondered what on earth Conway had gotten them into this time and glared at her questioningly (which is not an easy thing to do).  She turned to Lisa:  `I have a huge volume of work to get through today and I have to tell you, this is most inconvenient.’

`Shut it, sista!’ was Lisa’s terse response.

The wedding planner recoiled in shock and horror but Conway extended her shaking, quaking, wimpy hand to Lisa:  `Would you care to suck on a Pluck?’ she offered timidly, desperately trying to lessen the electrically-charged, nail-bitingly tense atmosphere.

Lisa didn’t get a chance to reply for just at that moment, Mick Fleetwood got up from behind his drum kit and ambled over, effortlessly knocking the SW39 from her hands.  Quick as a flash, the wedding planner (for she was the true heroine of the piece) grabbed the ropes and castanettie things dangling from Fleetwood’s belt.  She slung them expertly around Lisa’s neck and pulled tightly until she blacked out.  Stevie Nicks shouted out `right on’ and clapped.  Lindsey Buckingham grinned and gave her a high-five, but they’d celebrated a little too hastily, for someone, something was watching… waiting.  An entity darker and more sinister than anything they’d ever experienced in their lives before or ever would again…

Wow - you not only managed to defeat Lisa in an alternate way, Eds, but you were able to squash the Conway person, raise yourself to almost supernatural heights, and have Fleetwood Mac actually there in person in your office.  Amazing stuff!   Grin

A deep, dark entity, eh?  Sounds sinister.  Could it be...an insurance salesman?
